Finally, the President of Yemen Agree on Plan for Withdrawal

Sanaa - Finally, after constantly protested his people, Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh was willing to sign a resignation plan as agreed by the Gulf Cooperation Council. Signing will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This means that Saleh would soon abdicate.
"Signing ceremony will occur today in Riyadh," said UN envoy to Yemen, Jamal Benomar told AFP on Wednesday (11/23/2011).
The peace plan was signed by the opposition Yemen in April. Willingness Saleh is surprising considering this for a couple of months the veteran leader refused to sign it.
Later the stronghold of the opposition and Saleh would also sign the UN peace plan that establishes a mechanism to implement the plan of the Gulf Cooperation Council. In the Gulf's agreement, Saleh would hand power to his deputy, Abdrabuh Mansur Hadi and in return, Saleh would get immunity from legal process.
According to television station Yemen, Saleh has now arrived in Riyadh for the signing ceremony.
The peace plan proposed by the Gulf Cooperation Council which consists of six countries including Saudi Arabia. This signing will effectively put an end to Saleh's rule that has lasted 33 years in Yemen.
Earlier Saleh has repeatedly refused to sign an idea that is designed to stop the Gulf crisis on Yemen. Upheaval in Yemen that has lasted 10 months that have killed hundreds of people and injuring thousands.
