Israel continues to do demolitions residents of the West Bank

West Bank-Israeli troops continued to conduct demolition of houses belonging to Palestinians in the West Bank this year, causing about 700 people to float as they have no place to live, one human rights group reported.

B'Tselem said on Wednesday (22/06/2011) that Israeli forces had destroyed about 103 public buildings and 706 homes.

This figure shows that it is a fairly sharp increase of about 86 public facilities had been destroyed by the Zionists during the year 2010.

Meanwhile, Israeli self-defense that it only destroyed buildings that do not have permission.

B'Tselem said that the Palestinians have no choice that Israel, the occupied West Bank, never give them a building permit.

Last Tuesday (20 / 6), Israeli bulldozers leveled several Palestinian-owned houses near the town of Al Khalil (Hebron) in the southern West Bank.
