WINDOWS, IIS are the main skills they need everything else is a PLUS!! This
role is responsible for implementing enterprise wide applications using
standards as specified in the Solutions Design Package. This includes:
installation and configuration of application platform technologies Evaluate
installation and configuration documentation to ensure accuracy Work with
Solutions Engineers to update documentation to include all specifications
Testing, profiling, and evaluating deploy infrastructure systems Create and
update technical project documentation Train Application Operations team on
newly deployed systems Provide level 3 support of deployed systems and
applications during warranty period Wintel based application hosting
products such as Apache and IIS Unix based application hosting products such
as Weblogic, Tomcat, Apache High availability clustering technologies such
as Weblogic clustering High availability clustering technologies including
Microsoft and Veritas clustering services High availability solutions
including replication, load balancing, disaster recovery tools Database
technologies such as MySQL, SQL, Oracle including replication technologies
Supporting networking architecture tools such as local and global load
balancing Authentication technologies such as active directory, LDAP,
eRights, Oracle Identity Manager Linux, Windows, and Unix hardware/operating
systems Server virtualization technologies across Linux, Unix and windows
Operating systems Remote server management technologies
