ISAF DATA shows a night attack had killed more than 1,500 Afghan civilians Us_m410
KABUL-The U.S. special operations forces (SOF) has killed more than 1,500 Afghan civilians in a night attack in less than ten months from late 2010 until early 2011, analysis of official statistics on the raids revealed in documents created by the US-NATO command .

This will make the U.S. a night attack by far the biggest cause of civilian casualties in the war in Afghanistan. Earlier, a report by the UN in 2010 said that the bomb mines became "the leading cause of" civilian deaths, but it is not yet known the truth.

Data in a night attack which was given to the selected media, including three different times during the 90 days, an attack the night from May to July 2010, early August to early November until mid-February. They claimed a total of 2599 during the attack Mujahideen leader among medium and 723 have been killed, but reports like this has never been justified by the Mujahideen.

SOF night attack during the 10 months it reached the 6282 attacks.

The third important statistic that is often repeated by U.S. officials and NATO in 2010 and 2011 is that the shots fired by SOF only 20 percent of the whole night attack. If the shot is released only 20 percent of the 6282 attack, it means that 2844 people were killed in the 1256 attacks.

With very rare exceptions, the raids only target individuals rather than groups. They launched a night attack, because they are aimed at capturing individuals at home while they slept and taken by surprise.

Therefore, a minimum of 1588 people (2844 minus 1256 total were killed in a deadly attack targets) have been killed even though they are not targeted.

Socio-cultural and psychological attack to ensure that the percentage of civilian victims is much higher than the target "militants" as they say.

In Afghanistan, every adult male has a gun in his house, obliged by ancient codes "pashtunwali" to defend home, family and friends. As a result, civilians are not targeted in the attack the night has always been a close relative or a neighbor both by those who have been out for help against armed attack.
General Mc Chrystal expressed regret that the response by an Afghan man to defend his family and his home is sometimes interpreted as a guerrilla action with tragic results.

Although most of which are targeted in the attack Mujahideen clear the deadly night, but the really significant stuff a large proportion of casualties were civilians.

However, a night attack is the leading cause of death of civilians during the Afghan war in Afghanistan.
