NATO bombarded of hospitals in Sirte

Tripoli - NATO has conducted new chapter air strikes against Libya and the targeting of a hospital in the northern city of Sirte. NATO warplanes bombarded a medical center in Sirte, located 400 kilometers (250 miles) from east of the capital Tripoli, on Thursday (06/10/2011). The number of victims may still unknown. The attack was carried out at the house of tribal elders loyal to the dictator of Libya, Muammar Gaddafi, in the south of the city was looted. Meanwhile, U.S. Defence Secretary, Leon Panetta, on Thursday (6 / 10) set the conditions for the termination of NATO's operations in Libya. Speaking at a meeting of NATO defense chief in Brussels, Belgium, Panetta said that the decision to stop the bombing of Libya will depend on whether the forces loyal to Gaddafi still attacking civilians, and whether the Libyan troops of the National Transition Council (NTC) is able to provide security for the countries of North Africa it. NATO has conducted more than 9,300 air attacks on Libya since the campaign began in March, according to the Associated Press. Hundreds of Libyan civilians have lost their lives since NATO took command of the air attacks on March 31. NATO air strikes have also been damaged infrastructure Libya.
