KHARTOUM - Friday (20/05/2011), military, North and South Sudan Sudan blame each other about the attacks in the disputed territory on the border, Abyei, which marks the tension in the process of secession of the South.

As noted AntaraNews, a spokeswoman for the UN Mission in Sudan (UNMIS) said earlier artillery clashes erupted in the area Todach and Tagalei, but later said he needed to confirm the report.

Residents of South Sudan to vote for secession from the Northern Sudan in a referendum in January, as agreed under the peace agreement of 2005.

But tensions have risen in the oil-producing Abyei border region, where both parties have sent troops.
