CAIRO - Egyptian Foreign Minister, Amr Kamel, warned that the U.S. should be wary of consequences taken if U.S. gives the new requirements in providing military aid to Egypt, Al Arabiya, launched yesterday (09/30/2011).

Amr made this statement in a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Defense Minister, Leon E. Panetta, and a number of other White House officials.

Amr warning comes after U.S. lawmakers reportedly discussing a bill that would cut up to $ 1.3 billion in U.S. military aid to Egypt until 2012 until the Clinton administration could ensure that Egypt held democratic elections which protects freedom of expression, freedom of the press, and freedom groups.
But Clinton reportedly rejected a conditional aid proposed by the Allocations Committee, and said at a press conference on Wednesday that "we do not want to do anything that seems doubtful that our relationships intertwine and support we provide."

"We will work hard to convince Congress that what Congress proposed approach is not the best," he added.

Meanwhile, an Egyptian official who did not want his identity disclosed to the Washington Post declared that his government asked for U.S. intervention if they understand the true value of keja cooperation between the United States and Egypt, and not even give the terms and language that is perceived to be detrimental to cooperation between the two countries in the to come.

Egypt is the second country to receive U.S. aid since the signing of peace with Israel in 1979.

However, recently complained of increasing Egyptian American aid to many non-governmental organizations. Yet the U.S. still argue that their step is to support and train the prospective politicians as an approach towards the parliamentary elections on 28 November. Or in other words, through the assistance that the U.S. seeks to ensure that Egypt is in the 'track' in accordance with their interests.
