Again! Israel built Jewish settlements in East Jerusalem Pemukiman-israel

Israel again rob Palestinian land and establishing settlements in the land of his results robbed. The Israeli government commission on Thursday (19/05/2011) to approve the construction of more than 1,500 Jewish settler homes in east Jerusalem.

A spokesman for the NGO Ir Amim, which has asked the Israelis and Palestinians to divide Jerusalem, ensuring that the planning commission interior ministry has given final approval to the project.

The decision was endorsed the construction of 620 houses in the neighborhood Pisqat Zeev settlement, and 900 other homes in both neighborhoods, Har Homa.

Commission hearings that took place just hours before Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will fly to Washington, where he will meet with President Barack Obama in the White House on Friday (20 / 5), and perform an important speech to the two houses of Congress next week.

In March 2010 ago, Israel's interior ministry has announced plans to build 1,600 settler homes in Ramat Shlomo, Orthodok Jewish settlements in east Jerusalem.

The announcement was made when U.S. Vice President Joe Biden to visit Israel, triggering a fierce U.S. opposition and sour relations with Washington for several months.

As noted between sites, a spokesman for Ir Amim Orly Noi said that his group has filed an official objection to the plan of Har Homa, which he said would have a serious impact especially on Jerusalem's southeastern border with the West Bank.

"Regarding Har Homa, objections from us, on the basis of politics," he said. "Development is planned that will extend ... the direction of Bethlehem, which will create the change that is really significant," he told AFP.

Arab east Jerusalem annexed by Israel with the rest of the West Bank in the Six Day War in 1967 and later annexed in actions that are not recognized by the international community.

Israel considers Jerusalem the west and east will be the capital city of the "eternal and can not be divided", assuming a return by Mr. Netanyahu declared Monday (16 / 5) in a speech to the Israeli parliament.

The country does not consider the construction in east Jerusalem as settlement activity, and approximately 180,000 Israelis live in east Jerusalem in the middle of nearly 270,000 Palestinians.

However the Palestinians believe east Jerusalem will become the capital of their future state and bitterly opposed the expansion of Israeli rule in the region.
