HAVANA - Fidel Castro criticized the United States about how its forces killed Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, and said that there is no reason to "kill" an unarmed man who was surrounded by his family.
"Whatever action is linked to Osama bin Laden, the murder of an unarmed man who was surrounded by his relatives is a disgusting act," wrote leaders of the Cuban revolution 84 years old in an opinion piece published in Cuban media on Thursday (05/05/2011) .
"The fact that he was murdered and buried at sea show fear and insecurity, and change it even be the most dangerous," said Castro.
"After the explosion of euphoria, would criticize the U.S. community in ways that do to kill Osama bin Laden, " says Castro predicted.
Castro emphasized that the attack was "offended national dignity of Pakistan, violating the law and tarnish the tradition of this Musliam country (Pakistan). Cuba has the moral right to express an opinion on this complex problem, and added that the Cuban revolution "always opposed to actions that endanger the lives of civilians," and hostile to any action that resulted in the death of innocent people.
