Title: *Hyperion System Administrator (Mid Level)*

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: *Full Time – or CTH*

*We prefer Green Card holders / US Citizens for this position.*

*Minimum Requirements:*

- *5-7 years of IT systems experience*.

- *2+ years of experience in Hyperion System 9, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion
Essbase ASO, BSO databases and Hyperion Financial Reporting*.

- *1+ years of experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Sequel
Integration Services (SSIS).*

- *Advanced SQL knowledge (SQL 2000, 2005, 2008)*.

- BS Degree.

- Experience working in a high-tech multi-national corporation is desired.

- *Knowledge of SAP and SAP BW is a PLUS*.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to take ownership of a project.

- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple, competing priorities in a
fast-paced environment.

- Demonstrated ability to work with technical and non-technical business
owners to achieve goals.

- Demonstrated experience working with a geographically diverse work team.

- Strong verbal and written communications skills.

*Description:*

Hyperion System Administrator is responsible for maintaining and tuning the
Hyperion systems which include the Essbase and Planning environments
resulting in a stable, optimized financial planning, budgeting and reporting
for our business.

*RESPONSIBILITIES:*

- Monitor and maintain Hyperion servers.

- Monitor application performance, availability and utilization.

- Create and maintain development and QA testing environments and migration
plans.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system performance, ETL and data load issues.

- Tuning and optimization, Configuration settings, Dense/Sparse Outline
configuration.

- Lead system upgrades and exploration/testing of products designed to
integrate with Hyperion applications.

- Import and manipulate data from multiple disparate systems (SAP BW, SQL
based data, flat files, Essbase).

- Automate key processes (backups, cube loads and calcs, etc.).

- Create backup and recovery process for critical components.

- Dimension structure and outline maintenance.

- Create load rules, batch, ODI, SSIS, Esscmd, MaxL and MDX scripting.

- Create, maintain security, security filters and Shared Services.

- Data Validation.

- Function as Hyperion Help desk for Hyperion user community.
