*Position Description: *Responsibilities: a1) Testing coordinator a)Evaluate
compatibility of existing applications using various technologies i.e. .net,
C#, and SQL with new platform (OS 2008, SQL 2008) and makes necessary
modifications to the application, test it and migrate to production b)
Evaluate current applications and provide recommendations for consolidation
c) Responsible for the analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing
and implementation of extranet and intranet applications and solutions
supporting all functional areas and business units d) Evaluate and recommend
tools, changes and upgrades for the database, web and application
environment e) Code review and recommendations for changes or new database
objects

*Project Description: *Net Developer/SQL DBA for Windows Server Refresh
project for 4 months duration starting in Jan ‘10. The project includes
hardware refresh, server virtualization, OS upgrade, SQL upgrade and
server/application consolidation. This is a training/testing coordinator
requirement to manage a) Testing b) User Communication c) Manage application
upgrades etc

*Required skills:* Over 6yrs of experience on following: a) .Net programming
skills with C#. Should be able to convert .net framework 1.1 apps to
framework 2.0 and higher b)Visual Basic 6.0 c) Classic ASP d)Microsoft
SQL/Transact-SQL as related to both SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2008.
Should be able to migrate SQL code from SQL 2000 to SQL 2008 e) Oracle 10g
and PL/SQL to support Oracle applications f) Stored Procedures and Triggers
g) Expert level knowledge of DTS Packages in SQL 2000. Should be able
convert DTS packages to SSIS in SQL 2008. h) Knowledge of SAP .Net connector
to interface with SAP BAPIs. i) Oracle database development using PL/SQL
