Damascus - Former vice president Hafiz Asad regime era, Abdul Halim Khaddam, asserts that ultimately the fate of Bashar Asad will interminable as political refugees abroad or dragged through the streets by the revolutionary people's tragic fate as that experienced by taghut Libya, Moammar Qaddafi. According to him, Asad aka no longer able to survive on his power at this time.
Khaddam confirmed it in an interview with a Kuwaiti newspaper, Shahefa, on thursday (17/11/2001). He expressed Syria's current regime is the cause of the crisis the nation is very bitter. How Alawiyin group (Nushairiyah) which amounted to only 5 to 6 percent of the total population of Syria, became the ruler over 90 percent Muslim Sunnah ahlus Syria? Tyranny of the minority over the majority Syrian population has resulted in oppression and mindless savagery of humanity against the people who want freedom and justice.
Khaddam said that the majority of the group itself supports Alawiyyin Bashar Asad's resignation from the seat of power. But they did not dare to give support to the revolution that is supported by 90 percent of the population of Syria, fearing for the safety of their lives.
To the newspaper Shahefa, Khaddam said, "It is equally unknown in Syria that if there are two people who write articles in the media that contains criticism of the Syrian regime, first author of both Sunni and Alawi writer. Then the penalty for people Alawi will be more severe, because the Asad regime demanded everyone Alawi to give blind loyalty to him. "
Alawiyyin People are in fear of the possibility of Asad regime's barbaric actions
to them, if they gave support to the revolution, the majority of the Ahlus Sunnah Syria. However, Khaddam said that he was communicating with people Alawiyyin, and encourage them to support the Syrian people's revolution fearless again.
