Randy Moss get a frustrated fate two times during the short time Empty Randy Moss get a frustrated fate two times during the short time

The Minnesota Vikings, less than a month after acquiring china jerseys in a trade with the New England Patriots, waived the talented receiver Monday. That means in a matter of four short weeks Moss managed to talk his way off of two NFL teams. Perhaps it’s not as impressive as catching 23 touchdowns in 2007, but it may very well be a NFL record nonetheless.

At some point, Moss will find himself sitting on the waiver wire. For 24 hours, teams will have the right to place a claim on him and his destination would be determined by order of worst current record (Buffalo Bills) to best (New England Patriots). Whoever picks him up would owe him the remainder of his $6.4 million salary for this season. If he clears waivers, he can become an unrestricted free agent.

The question is whether he’ll get a shot at being fired by a third team. Or, perhaps, he reignites his considerable ability and helps a contending team get over the hump.

Moss is the ultimate high risk, high reward kind of player. The situation he and any potential suitors find themselves in is rare.

Moss had 13 catches for 174 yards in nhl jerseys but considering the daily soap opera around him, the oversized power that Favre has on the franchise and the general mismanagement of the team by Childress, it makes sense, by Moss standards, that he would lose interest.

When the times get tough, Randy doesn’t get going. What if the times are good though? Isn’t he worth the risk then?

These are just some of the debates being hashed out in NFL front offices Monday. There isn’t a team in the league that didn’t spend at least a second thinking about whether there is a role for Moss.

The Seattle Seahawks and Miami Dolphins have already contacted the Vikings, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. ESPN claims Oakland, the Washington Redskins, Chicago Bears, St. Louis Rams, the New York Jets and the Patriots are considering Moss.

Yes, the Patriots.

In a season this bizarre, why not end up where you started, right?
