A spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Zabiullah Mujahid said that 38 NATO oil tanks were destroyed and 32 drivers were killed in the attack.
NATO supply convoy has always been a target of the Mujahideen attacks every day. If the convoy escaped the attack by the Mujahideen in Pakistan, the Afghan Mujahideen who would attack them. This attack by the Mujahideen of Pakistan launched as reprisals for the attacks without sanction U.S. drones in Pakistan's tribal region that has killed hundreds of civilians since 2008.
This convoy arrived at the port of Karachi, where security analysts believe the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan hiding there. From there, the convoy was a long trip, passing through the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwest Pakistan and into Afghanistan border.
Another route has been tested and proven to be more expensive U.S. both politically and economically.
