After waiting 10 years, Blizzard finally released the latest series of best selling Sci-Fi RTS. In SCII: WOL, we only follow the adventures of Jim Raynor and Raynor's Raiders save mankind from the threat of invasion Zerg active again after being dormant for 4 years. The absence of Protoss and Zerg campaign was upset with some parties even more so the price for the Standard Edition is too expensive, but at least there is a mini Protoss campaign in this WOL who can provide a little entertainment.
Stories in WOL fairly standard, Jim Raynor who still can not forget Kerrigan and in a state of despair due to their resistance against the Terran Dominion Emperor Mengsk often led to no progress means getting bids from Tychus Findlay, a former Marine who was known Raynor on duty in the Confederate period and then jailed on charges of treason and criminal, to hunt for artifacts Xel'Naga. Tychus who now works for the Moebius Foundation promises that Raynor will get a lot of money to finance his rebellion against the Dominion. Later Raynor will also meet other figures such as Gabriel Tosh, a Rastafarian who is a former Dominion ghost who now perform acts of sabotage against the government Mengsk; there is also Dr. Ariel Hanson, a researcher at Agria are determined to save the colony from attack Zerg and Protoss; Ariel view Raynor as a knight who can help him. Zeratul also re-emerged and we can control it in a mini-campaign that tells its efforts to solve the prediction Xel'Naga and save the universe from destruction.
Lika Meander storyline is very interesting because in some missions we have to make choices that can affect the other characters and storyline. We too will be curious about the motives Tychus and Tosh, who joined Raynor's Raiders and are they reliable?
What do you think. Does this game has been awaited by gamers and should get an award one of the best games in early 2011 ?
